There are people who will tell you that awards, degrees, and “likes” are what set a good designer apart from a “bad” designer, which simply isn’t true. There are a lot of factors that go into what I like to call “surface success” and real success. We’re here to provide professional level services at affordable rates that work for any budget so that other small businesses and individual professionals can achieve their own success in a competitive market. Whether our clients are looking for a clean and beautiful brand, or a design with impact to draw in customers, we’re here to help them, that’s what we do. We work with local folks because we want to get to know them, and form a connection that will last for years. We’re not interested in being the biggest design studio, we’re not looking to jab our competition, steal clients, or push our way into the limelight.
And the truth is, as crazy as it sounds, it’s actually pretty tough being the nice guys. In just the two years we’ve been in business we’ve run into some really awkward situations. We’ve had clients who didn’t pay us for months despite completion of a project, competitors who openly trash talked our business because they didn’t like us on a personal level, and clients who simply stopped moving forward on their project because of personal issues, leaving us with seemingly nothing to show in our portfolio from all the time spent. Despite these few isolated incidents, we’ve had a great time, and our client base continues to gradually grow.
We keep moving forward, and rolling with the punches, because we have a goal, and a drive to see our community grow, and prosper. We work out of love, and not for likes.
