November is fast approaching and that means that Grunge Muffin Designs co-owner Brandon S. Boas will be raising donations through the Extra Life Organization which donates millions of dollars to kid’s cancer research.
As he’s done for the last couple of years, Brandon will be representing the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center of Baltimore, Maryland. If you are able to make any donations or contributions, feel free to visit his gamer page, Jippery McCloud Gaming or go directly to his Extra Life donation page.
Current Donation Goal: $250, which we hope to far exceed! Donate Directly Here.
Thanks in advance and remember, this is for the kids!
Dear League of Awesome People,
Extra Life is an amazing organization that takes donations that will help children throughout the United States battle with many different diseases. With having that much awesome in one organization, we as everyday citizens like to help out and become a hero when we are called upon.
My name is Brandon Boas. I’m known in the gaming community as Jippery McCloud (long story, ridiculous nickname from when I grew up). When I’m not gaming or broadcasting my gamer skills to the world, I’m just a profressor at a few local colleges. With that being said, I also donate my time for extra events that help out our youth.
Whether it is teaching game design and 3d modeling to kids between the ages of 8-17, dressing up as Santa Claus to raise money for classroom equipment for my local public schools, or just being a mentor in my community, I take my strides like everyone else does. Even with that load of work and time helping the community, I do it because I love giving back. Now it is all of our turns to give back to the children of our nation.
I’ve done Extra Life the past few years and have met my minimum goal. This year, I’m looking to start off small like I’ve done in the past, but build up the donations throughout the second half of the year. From July to December, every time I stream, I’ll be looking for donations. Even 1 dollar can make a difference, which means anyone can come on down and help.
So as a mentor in my community, to your communuity, to the gaming world we participate it, let’s go ahead and fight these diseases together for the kids. Let’s level up together by brining happiness and cures to the ones that need it most. For a moment, let’s all feel like heroes to a never ending battle, but one that we can together as a community, face against.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart like I do year after year and hope to see you in person or on the gaming side of things. Thanks again. This is for the kids!
